For hikers or cyclists, set out from the campsite and enjoy direct access to a long cycle path which runs along the ocean. Bicycles can be hired at the campsite during the summer season.
Visit the rich and varied landscapes in the municipalities of Sables d'Olonne, Château d'Olonne, Olonne sur Mer, Olonne Island, Sainte Foy and Vairé. Many activities are available, beach, fishing, fishing port, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, horse riding centres. Animal park (zoo), thalassotherapy, etc.
Are you looking for activities for children and adults ?
Go to the Skate-park in Château d'Olonne or Sables d’Olonne, the golf course, the mini-golf course, karting, the aquarium, paintball, laser-game, cinema, bowling. The Château des Aventuriers after Talmont-Saint Hilaire is a fun visit for all the family and if you want to try a maiden flight or a parachute jump, the airfield is just 5 mins from the campsite. The Sprint Racing circuit, with a 1,700 m track, is also near the campsite. Do you want to dance? Make your way to the Refuge Club built on a rock with a terrace overlooking the sea, or enjoy an evening at the Casino des Pins, a unique venue owing to its architecture inspired by houses in New Orleans.

An unmissable event ?
The Vendée Globe is a must. This round the world race departs from and arrives in Sables d'Olonne! The 8th race will be held in 2016 ! Tourism in the Vendée region: 1-1½ hours from the campsite: Visit La Rochelle (3rd most visited town in France), its old harbour, its medieval towers and its large aquarium, set out on a sea excursion around Fort Boyard, spend a day on Yeu Island. Discover Noirmoutier Island, the Vendée Memorial, the Marais Poitevin marsh, and experience the thrills of the Puy du Fou, easily accessible by dual-carriageway and motorway, the Poupet Festival, a safari at Port St Père...
